Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing large-scale data systems, as well as experience with distributed computing and big data technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and ensuring high performance and scalability of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient data pipelines to process and analyze large datasets
  • Integrate multiple data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based storage solutions
  • Optimize data processing and query performance using various techniques, including caching, indexing, and data partitioning
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of data systems, leveraging technologies such as clustering, load balancing, and automation tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design data solutions that meet those needs
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data systems and distributed computing
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
  • Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
