About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Macarta Brazil. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated machine learning models to drive client performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms for various marketing purposes, including campaign optimization, lead scoring, product recommendation, and performance forecasting.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and guide cross-functional teams in leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to understand complex client needs and translate them into innovative data science solutions.
  • Design and oversee A/B tests to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of our solutions.
  • Create and present insightful visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in machine learning and data science, particularly in marketing applications, and lead the implementation of cutting-edge solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in applied data science, with at least 2 years focused on marketing analytics or related fields.
  • Proven track record of leading successful data science projects in a marketing, digital agency, or related environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, with extensive experience using libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
  • Advanced knowledge of MLOps practices and experience leading the implementation of MLOps workflows.
  • Deep expertise in advanced machine learning algorithms like XGBoost, Neural Networks, Regression Analysis, and Collaborative Filtering, with a focus on marketing applications.
  • Strong experience with SQL and database management, including working with large-scale datasets.
  • Proficiency in R and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong project management skills and experience working directly with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
