Job Title:

Business Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports summarizing movements in Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, including deeper review of cost variances and adjustments between General Ledger accounts, departments etc.
  • Local Financial Support: Provide local accounting and tax compliance knowledge to the AP team and support them with their tasks as needed.
  • Budget and Forecasting: Work with local managers to prepare annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring that they are compliant with Brazilian GAAP and internal policies.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Knowledge: Qualified Accountant with strong knowledge of Brazilian statutory accounting and tax regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English language skills for communication both orally and in writing.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills, including the ability to research and simplify complex situations.
  • Teamwork: Team player who takes initiative and works constructively with others to achieve team goals.
