**About Our Team**

Citi's Enterprise Services and Public Affairs team is responsible for enhancing and protecting the company's reputation through direct and indirect communication with stakeholders. The Global Communications team, a part of this larger group, focuses on executive communications, public engagements, quarterly earnings, corporate reputation programs, and digital communications for Citi's global workforce.

This is a dynamic environment where team members serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues, and develop external and internal digital communications. We work closely with senior leadership and other teams across the world to achieve our goals.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to contribute to media relations and social media strategies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with agencies and internal departments to execute projects
  • Coordinating internal approvals
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Crafting reports, including risks and controls
  • Helping craft media materials, such as briefing books and press releases
  • Designing social media posts for Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Processing invoice payments

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in Communications. Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus, and knowledge of social media and media relations is required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and efficient time management are also essential.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Communications
  • Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus
  • Knowledge of social media and media relations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
