About This Role

Apeel Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our Technology Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and resources for projects, ensuring efficient project execution in support of company goals.

This role reports to the Associate Director of Engineering Project Management and will be located in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and leadership, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and define project goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify the most suitable solution for each customer/supplier site.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing.
  • Drive project meetings with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Manage Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment vendors and contractors.
  • Evaluate and mitigate project risks, ensuring the success of the projects.
  • Guide and participate in the development and implementation of department process improvements.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and project support to other team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of program and/or project management experience.
  • Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and 3D Modeling software such as Solidworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with a project management platform, preferably Smartsheet.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kgs.
