As a key player in the Volvo Group Trucks Purchasing team, you will shape the future of sustainable transport solutions. Collaborate with next-gen technologies and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

This role involves leading purchasing activities related to electrical wiring parts, ensuring customer satisfaction through strategic supplier partnerships and innovative solutions. You will also negotiate contracts to secure optimal QDCF-TSR performance and oversee logistics and financial flows to suppliers.

About this Opportunity

You will be responsible for managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and maximize value. This includes identifying and onboarding top-performing suppliers, streamlining processes, and driving operational excellence.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of the industry, and the ability to think creatively. A proven track record in purchasing or supply chain management is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead purchasing activities related to electrical wiring parts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimize QDCF-TSR performance and drive cost savings.
  • Develop and implement effective logistics and financial strategies to support business growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth, cost reductions, and process improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
