Job Title: Technical Service Specialist

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with customers to drive process improvements and optimize product performance.

The role involves performing on-site activities at customer sites, including testing process fluids, creating reports, monitoring inventories, and implementing cost-reduction projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for traveling to customer locations approximately 60% of the time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and documenting savings opportunities and presenting them to customers for approval.
  • Partnering with commercial teams to ensure financial goals are met and promoting shared savings programs.
  • Creating and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for specific product applications to ensure efficient performance.
  • Performing administrative duties in a manufacturing environment, including data analysis and record-keeping.
  • Providing input for customer presentations and interacting with customer production and technical personnel.
  • Assisting in plant surveys and sales projects to quantify savings and process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of industry experience.
  • Customer focus, results-driven approach, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
