About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HPC System Administrator to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will be responsible for implementing, delivering, and administering HPC clusters for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and deliver HPC clusters, ensuring high-performance computing solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Perform solution optimization, migration, and upgrade, recommending strategies to improve cluster performance.
  • Collaborate with the hardware sales team, technical sales team, and Business Partners to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Work on a billable basis, delivering customer-paid projects.
  • Provide onsite technical services, including knowledge transfer, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to HPC & AI platforms and solutions.
  • Implement and support HPC solutions at customer sites, involving Server, Storage, Network, Power, and Cooling, OS, and cluster management software.

Requirements

  • Experience in Linux Suse, RHEL, and CentOS.
  • Experience in HPC system troubleshooting and support.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English languages.
  • Able to perform OS installation and upgrades with no supervision.
  • Able to perform high-level problem determination.
  • Customer service skills, including written and oral communication with clients.
  • Ability to respond on an escalation basis outside of core working hours.
