Compliance Professional

Job Summary:

The Compliance Professional will be responsible for ensuring our organization's adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards, particularly in commodity trading operations. This role involves conducting thorough risk analyses, monitoring business transactions, and developing policies to mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive compliance and AML risk assessments for customers, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Monitoring business transactions to identify potential misappropriation, fraud, or illegal practices.
  • Developing and reviewing international policies, including the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption Policy, and Compliance Policy.
  • Providing regulatory compliance opinions for projects and new activities/services.
  • Participating in projects and initiatives as a Compliance representative.
  • Assisting and supporting the development and management of the Compliance and AML Programs.
  • Conducting periodic compliance training for employees.
  • Maintaining knowledge of relevant national and international legislation.
  • Participating in internal and external audits.
  • Preparing compliance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of regulatory legislation, internal controls, and corporate governance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commodities companies or financial institutions in similar roles.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Proficiency in risk analysis and compliance tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
