Job Description

Solving complex problems and identifying potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services is a key responsibility in this role. This involves being at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of the biggest clients in the world.


The job requires proactive monitoring and performance tuning of CICS systems, administration and configuration of CICS regions, support and resolution of critical incidents related to the CICS environment, dump analysis and error tracing using tools such as IPCS, Abend-AID, and Trace, planning and execution of CICS updates, version upgrades, and migrations, technical interface with infrastructure, application, and security teams, creation and maintenance of JCL, REXX, and CLIST scripts for support automation, technical documentation of operational procedures and changes, and support to projects and integrations involving APIs, Web Services, and legacy modernization.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience providing support for CICS environments on z/OS platforms is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and RACF is required.
  • Familiarity with high-availability, scalable, and contingency-driven environments is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosis and troubleshooting are required.
  • Clear and collaborative communication skills across technical and functional teams are essential.
  • Commitment to best practices in information security and governance is necessary.
