About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our culinary team. As a Culinary Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of dishes in our kitchen.
Responsibilities- Prepare mise en place ingredients for daily service
- Set up orders for sales points
- Maintain high standards of organization and hygiene in the kitchen
- Assist chefs in food preparation under their guidance
- Store and check food products for quality and validity
- Provide support to other departments as needed
- Communicate effectively with colleagues during shift changes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and situations
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
It is desirable that candidates have some experience in a commercial kitchen environment and basic knowledge of cooking techniques.
