About the Position

This role is an integral part of the Institutional Credit Management organization. The job requires delivering high-quality credit risk analysis, monitoring, and administration as a partner to Banking and the firm's lines of defense shared commitments to ensuring safety and soundness of wholesale lending across ICG.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver independent fundamental credit analysis for designated regional or industry relationships.
  • Ensure ongoing timely performance in credit analysis to sustain strong credit culture and unwavering commitment to excellence in analysis and execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders in BCMA, ICM Underwriting, and Independent Risk on implementing credit assessment and monitoring standards.
  • Support Global Head of ICG Risk Analysis and CAO on internal projects and initiatives.
  • Support VOE initiatives in ICG Risk Analysis.
  • Able to travel occasionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate has demonstrable financial services experience including 5-7 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management, or equivalent credit experience. He/She must have in-depth knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes and organizational awareness including ICM functions, covered portfolios, and processes.

  • Strong knowledge of Citi Wholesale Credit Risk Policies and ICM/UW procedures.
  • Sound understanding of Citi systems.
  • Credit Officer designation or demonstrating aligned skills.
  • Impeccable thorough knowledge of Citi systems.
  • Experience in preparing presentations for seniors.
  • High awareness adherence to control environment including Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

The preferred candidate has strategic orientation ensuring ICM Underwriting organization continues to be positioned as thoughtful proactive partner on driving best practices to support safety and soundness within ICM and Citi.

  • Demonstrated record of handling highly complex annual reviews challenging credits episodic transactions.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills building relationships exerting influence with direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently minimal supervision managing time priorities effectively.
  • Sound written verbal communication skills clearly concisely communicating to audiences varying levels of seniority.
  • Excellent presentation skills presenting effectively to audiences various sizes constituencies.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Word Excel PowerPoint.
