Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled software professional to design and maintain specialist tools for our developer build and publication process.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement custom Python solutions to support the developer workflow.
    • Analyze open source and commercial projects to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Utilize expertise in languages, toolchains, frameworks, integrations, and CI systems to enhance the snap build ecosystem.
  • Key Requirements:
    • Extensive experience with Python programming.
    • In-depth understanding of modern GNU/Linux distributions.
    • Familiarity with build systems and toolchains, including cross-compilation.
    • Proficiency in container technology, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD.
