Digital Innovation Strategist

About the Role:

The Digital Innovation Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving the digitalization and innovation agenda of our enterprise customers. As a key thought leader, this individual will connect business priorities to technology strategy and develop value propositions that align with customer goals.

  • Create a 3-Horizon roadmap to enable customer DT/innovation agenda, understanding industry trends, Microsoft solution areas, and partner solutions.
  • Raise awareness of technology as a business and innovation partner to drive DT agenda of our enterprise customers.
  • Develop a long-term strategy that links business, technology, and industry needs of our customers to enable their transformation strategy.
  • Drive technology sales activities to realize the digital transformation vision and roadmap of our customers with Microsoft technologies.
  • Internalize and externalize change agent behavior to inspire and ideate possibilities new technologies provide for customer business strategy.

Responsibilities:

Main Objectives:

  • Prioritize Customer Needs: Engage deeply with senior executives within customer organizations to understand their future business needs & priorities, articulating how Microsoft technology/services can support these objectives.
  • Business-Driven Solutions: Leverage design thinking skills to dissect customer industry and business priorities, determining which Microsoft and partner technologies to leverage in customer's future state architecture.
  • Innovation Strategy: Drive Account thought leadership with knowledge of customer technology, industry, and business strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with their DT roadmap.

Key Requirements:

Necessary Skills:

  • Enterprise Sales: Proven ability to sell to or consult with enterprise customers, emphasizing customized pitches and solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead multi-cultural, diverse, and remote teams across disciplines, navigating through ambiguity and complexities related to client management.
  • Certifications and Education: Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience.
