About the Role

Boeing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Control Engineering Manager to join our team in Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil. As a key member of our Airplane Systems Senior Management team, you will be responsible for managing critical work statements within the team and overseeing technical decision-making and engineering quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage team priorities, work statement, and budget allocation
  • Oversight of technical decision-making and engineering quality
  • Reporting and elevating status to senior management
  • Direct coordination with Suppliers and/or Customers
  • Performance management and mentorship of an engineering team
  • Cross-functional coordination with other organizations such as Avionics, Crew Ops, Airplane Safety, Aero, System Stress, Production Engineering, and Supply Chain

Requirements:

  • In-depth experience in management or leadership role
  • Experience of Flight control systems
  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Must have a post-secondary degree in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical)
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working development and sustaining programs
  • Experience working with system engineering principles
