Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

This is a highly technical role that requires strong analytical skills, ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and needs
  • Act as Application Manager, overseeing production support incidents, small enhancements and projects implementation
  • Communicate with analysts across organization
  • Analyze requirements and design to specify changes (User Stories) and recommend solutions
  • Work collaboratively within the Scrum team regarding task priorities, design, implementation, testing and timeframes
  • Identify opportunities to improve and recommend changes
  • Maintain project's documentation
Requirements
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Good knowledge in SQL to decrypt database query statements and trace data back to source
  • Desirable skills include Datawarehouse knowledge
  • Project Management experience, particularly project plan creation, periodic status presentations and coordination of multi-disciplinary teams for SIT, UAT and PROD implementation phases of software deployment
  • Familiarity with IT Governance disciplines such as Incident Management and Change Management
  • Advanced level of English language proficiency
  • Graduated in Technology, Engineering or related field
