The role of a Project Manager at Kokku Games involves overseeing the creation and delivery of various projects within the game studio. This includes collaborating with the producer to ensure project kick-off is successful and managing deliverables to meet deadlines.
As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the team to plan and track schedules, identify potential risks, and resolve communication issues. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing project guidelines, including defining deadlines, roles, and responsibilities, and ensuring compliance throughout the production process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the producer with project kick-off and managing deliverables;
- Supporting the team in capacity planning and scope management;
- Scheduling and tracking deliverables in close collaboration with the team of Producers;
- Planning Milestones, Reviews, and Retrospectives in close collaboration with the team of Producers;
- Mitigating and highlighting existing and potential risks ahead of time;
- Coordinating and tracking schedules, identifying current and future risks, and resolving communication and other issues;
- Developing and implementing project guidelines with each collaborating team.
Requirements for the role include:
- Project Management experience in the gaming industry or similar;
- Fluent English;
- PMP Certification;
- Knowledge in project management tools (Jira/Monday/Asana, etc.);
- Familiarity with methodologies such as Scrum, Waterfall, etc.;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite: Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, etc.
Bonus requirements include:
- Basic knowledge of version control software (SVN, Github, Perforce);
- Basic knowledge of publishing tools (Sony Developer Portal, NDP, etc.);
- Any other software-driven methodology (PRINCE 2, TQM, etc.);
- Knowledge of ISO standards (especially ISO 9000/9001).
