Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a Backend Developer. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of our backend systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and build scalable and efficient backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and NestJS.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact ways of solving problems quickly.

    • Improve performance and quality through continuous testing, integration, and deployment.

    • Take ownership of our backend infrastructure, which hosts our authentication flow, payment systems, AI logic, feature management, and data processing.

  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of professional experience in full-time software development roles.

    • Experience building and maintaining design systems.

    • Strong understanding of how the web works.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Working hours in the Toronto timezone.
