Job Title: Senior Javascript Developer

ITTConnect is seeking a skilled Senior Javascript Developer to join our team. As a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services, we are looking for a talented individual to work on our web applications.

Job Location: Brazil. Work REMOTE from anywhere in the country.

Language: All communication is in English, so proficiency is required. Please submit your resume in English or it will be rejected.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and independent frontend developer who can work with our tech stack, which includes React, Vue, Node, Docker, Jenkins CI/CD, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UI design, be able to build and create with an idea-level understanding of a project, and meet general accessibility requirements.

The successful candidate will be able to contribute from day one in the following technologies: React, Vue, HTML Canvas, CSS, and RESTful API integration. Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is also required. Experience with Cypress, Express, WebGL, and Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React and Vue.
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and develop applications.
  • Work with APIs built and maintained by our partners in OSS middleware.
  • Build stateless apps and integrate with APIs.
  • Contribute to the development of customer-facing apps, internal operations tooling, and set-top box applications.
  • Participate in Agile, Scrum, and Iterative development practices.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Strong understanding of UI design and ability to build and create with an idea-level understanding of a project.
  • Ability to meet general accessibility requirements.
  • Competence in React, Vue, HTML Canvas, CSS, and RESTful API integration.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience with Cypress, Express, WebGL, and Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to estimate own velocity and workload with accuracy.
  • Provide appropriate daily status updates via daily standup, asking for guidance as needed, and proactively raising issues/blockers.
