About the Role

This is a Data Engineer position that involves building scalable data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, availability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain secure data pipelines ensuring data accuracy, availability, and performance.
  • Develop and support data models, warehouse tables, and views for consumption by analysts and downstream applications.
  • Implement and maintain core data infrastructure and tooling, including monitoring, lineage tracking, and alerting systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, engineers, and product teams to facilitate efficient data use.
  • Integrate governance and security controls such as access management and cost visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and supporting large-scale data pipelines – streaming and batch processing.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Postgres, DBT, Airflow.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Marketing, Ad & Social media platforms, CRM/Salesforce, and JSON data.
  • Knowledge of modern data platforms and its key components – ingestion, transformation, curation, quality, governance, and delivery.

In the first year, you will work on multiple projects and deliver results. You will start troubleshooting production issues and participating in on-call activities within 3 months. By the end of the year, you will have established yourself as a key team member with subject matter expertise within data engineering.
