We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Technical Lead to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk management strategies and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical provisions for Local and USGAAP.
- Review and analyze reserves levels for Insurance and Reinsurance Company for Commercial and Consumer lines products.
- Define risk appetite and retention per risk.
- Review and analyze capital levels (current and projection).
- Prepare and submit Appointed Actuary Reports to regulators.
- Conduct profitability studies and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance portfolio profitability.
- Define budget loss ratio and identify variances to financial plans and forecasts.
- Analyze quarterly studies of IBNR to manage loss ratio by products.
- Prepare financial statements notes related to actuarial work.
- Manage databases to measure performance and ensure accuracy.
- Handle Brazil regulatory annual activities and manage external audit process.
Requirements:
- Technical reserving experience and portfolio analysis experience.
- Pricing experience a plus.
- Actuarial Bachelor's degree (MIBA required).
- Advanced English Skills.
- Ability to dive into technical and execution level details.
- Capacity to lead the team, encourage accountability, manage deadlines, problem-solving, and develop team skills.
