Job Title: Materials Planning Analyst

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning Analyst to support our team in leading societies to a low carbon future. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of materials procurement and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support to users in utilizing the ERP system (SAP/GSI) and interface tools, addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Deliver in-depth knowledge of local business processes to users.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Collaborate and participate in Regional Business Process Experts (RBPEs) Americas meetings.
  • Test new functionalities and report incidents or defects to the IS&T/Central team.
  • Communicate process changes to local management teams and end-users.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and documentation on Sharepoint Local.
  • Manage system access and segregation of duties (SoD) with mitigation plans for internal controls.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement by sharing best practices with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Tech degree in Administration, Engineering, or Logistics.
  • Analytical and organized profile.
  • Intermediate English (B2 or higher) for conversation and writing.
  • Daily interaction with a global team.
  • Experience in materials planning, ERP (preferably SAP), and MRP execution.
  • Strong knowledge of interface routines with Purchasing and Logistics departments.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Desirable:

  • Advanced English.
  • Experience in production line replenishment routines.

It will be an asset:

  • Knowledge/experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience as a key user of the ERP in the scope of materials planning.
  • Knowledge/experience in Power BI.
