Strategic Internal Audit Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee numerous concurrent internal audit projects, ensuring timely completion in accordance with the Internal Audit Manual standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborating with Regional Audit Directors or Vice Presidents of Internal Audit on risk assessment and annual audit planning
- Ensuring audits are initiated and completed as planned, motivating and supporting audit teams to achieve individual and departmental goals and objectives
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with local and executive company leadership, external audit management, and internal audit associates
- Administering annual audit coordination efforts between internal and external auditors
- Reviewing and approving individual audit plans and analytical data, including risk assessment, audit scope, testing methodology, and time budget
- Making or approving audit scope adjustments and advising Regional Audit Directors of changes
- Reviewing electronic working papers to ensure compliance with departmental policies and internal audit quality standards
- Approving and ensuring the audit report draft is submitted to Regional Audit Directors in a timely manner
