Key Responsibilities

As a Frontend Software Engineering Manager, you will lead, guide and direct the engineering team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing planning, execution and delivery of team's projects
  • Managing and mentoring engineers, including hiring, training, performance evaluations and career development
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, engaging with product managers, other engineering managers and leadership team
  • Continuously assessing and improving engineering processes to enhance productivity and quality
  • Serving as the main point of contact for engineering-related questions and issues
  • Contributing to critical platform architecture decisions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
  • 2+ years of professional experience as engineering manager
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects
  • Deep experience with - and love for - technology
  • Strong interpersonal, and English communication skills

Preferred Requirements

Familiarity with AWS, and AWS services is a plus. Experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) market is also desirable.
