Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Channel Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for managing strategic partnerships with mid-market customers, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

Your primary goal will be to develop joint business plans with partners to drive revenue growth and profitability. You'll build relationships at all levels across the partner organization, identify new opportunities, and work closely with the Sophos sales team to close deals.

You will also be responsible for enabling partners to take full advantage of our comprehensive solution and services portfolio, improving their customers' security protection and response.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing relationships with partner decision-makers to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Building and executing business plans that identify, develop, and close incremental opportunities.
  • Enabling partners to leverage our solutions and services to improve customer security.
  • Supporting partners in qualifying and closing complex customer deals.
  • Managing the joint business review and planning process between partners and Sophos.
  • Collaborating with partners to develop marketing plans that drive incremental sales pipeline.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3-5 years of channel sales and territory management experience in networking or security sectors.
  • Experience building successful business and marketing plans.
  • Strong understanding of the technology channel ecosystem and the business model of different types of channel partners.
  • Adept at account management and business partner techniques, with strong interpersonal and qualification skills.
  • Solid technical acumen and the ability to explain the benefits of different technologies.
