About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at General Motors. As a Data Analyst - Connected Vehicles, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our data analysis and visualization capabilities remain cutting-edge
  • Develop and maintain expertise in data extraction, preparation, and analysis using tools such as SQL and Power BI

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Fluent English communication skills (speak, listen, read, write)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think critically and creatively
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and ability to develop interactive dashboards
  • Strong customer focus with ability to respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Spanish communication skills
  • Experience with Hadoop, Microsoft Azure, and Python
  • Experience working with Telecom industry: Equipment/software vendors, Carriers (Cellular services providers)
  • Knowledge of Cellular telecommunications technologies (3G, 4G LTE, VoLTE)
  • Automotive industry experience
