Job Overview

Role Summary

The Industrial Engineering and Lean Specialist will spearhead initiatives focused on line balancing, standardized work processes, capacity definition, and labor calculations. This role requires the ability to design and implement layouts in accordance with Lean methodologies. Furthermore, the specialist will act as a catalyst for promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, emphasizing efficiency, performance, and quality to ensure a systematic approach to enhancing both industrial and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead industrial engineering activities with an emphasis on line balancing and standardized work.
  • Define line capacity and perform labor calculations.
  • Propose and implement Lean-compliant layouts.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Focus on enhancing efficiency, performance, and quality in processes.

Qualifications

Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production, or related fields.

Experience: Strong background in Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing, with demonstrated expertise in Kaizen tools, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), problem-solving techniques, indicator analysis, and report generation. Experience in conducting training sessions is also required.

Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Language: Proficiency in English is essential.

Work Environment: This position is based in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing setting.
