Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of driving growth and transformation within large-scale organizations. This is a unique opportunity to join the Microsoft team as a key leader in our sales organization.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that reports directly to the COO/Segment Leadership team.
  • The primary responsibilities include driving sales growth through account or business planning, advising segment leads or partners on segmentation, territory planning, and quota setting, and maintaining a predictable rhythm of connection (RoC) in collaboration with peers and/or leadership.
  • The ideal candidate will also contribute to analytics on key revenue drivers, integrate findings from data analysis, and leverage reporting and analytical capabilities to generate data-based insights and enable visibility into revenue and forecast for sellers, sales managers, and leaders.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Growth and Transformation: Drives sales growth through account or business planning, analyzes the outlook, and leverages business insights to benchmark performance and make suggestions on current and future actions based on key drivers, opportunities, and/or risks.
  2. Sales Coaching for Growth and Transformation: Coaches and builds relationships with sales teams on executing key priorities, engages sales team to become more effective coaches to their sellers, and helps sales team achieve increased individual and team capability, employee satisfaction, and collaborative selling efforts.
  3. Driving Sales Process Discipline: Contributes to analytics on key revenue drivers, integrates findings from data analysis, and leverages reporting and analytical capabilities to generate data-based insights and enable visibility into revenue and forecast for sellers, sales managers, and leaders.
Requirements
  • Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry or company size.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and transformation within large-scale organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with sales teams and managers to develop and execute strategic plans.
