Job Title: Drafting TechnicianA mid-level drafting technician role is available for a highly skilled professional. The successful candidate will oversee the production of maps from survey data, utilizing various software tools to deliver high-quality results.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and review various work projects, including preliminary and final calculations, drawings, plans, and maps.
- Conduct quality control checks of plats and drawings prepared by other technicians.
- Provide regular progress reports to supervisors.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues.
- Manage time efficiently for multiple projects simultaneously.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- A technical degree or certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience using Carlson Survey and/or AutoCAD Civil 3-D is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects occasionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A high level of accountability.
