Technical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to spearhead our engineering efforts. As the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in our team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects, managing teams, and collaborating with cross-functional groups. Experience in shipping AAA titles across multiple platforms is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align disparate stakeholders by clarifying complex technical issues and translating requirements.
  • Articulate challenges, risks, and trade-offs in a constructive manner.
  • Ensure feature request requirements are clear, consistent, and achievable.
  • Regularly manage and mentor engineering leads and individual contributors.
  • Communicate effectively with design, art, UI, and production teams to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Work with engineering leads to establish and refine our development roadmap.
  • Challenge and align technical decisions across disciplines to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • A technical leader with expertise in facilitating team success and providing feedback.
  • Experience with advanced C++ skills, scripting languages, low-level debugging, and optimization.
  • Impeccable problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Deep expertise in product lifecycle management, including generating technical requirements, assembling capable teams, and building support systems.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and architecting solutions in multiple areas of expertise – gameplay, graphics, audio, UI, networking, and physics.
  • Passionate about personal development and continuous improvement.
