Reliability-Focused Maintenance Professional

The Preventative Maintenance Specialist plays a vital part in the maintenance engineering team for beverage packaging, reporting to the manager of equipment operational excellence.

This key member contributes to the success of the organization by helping establish reliability-focused maintenance practices at a global level.

• Maintenance Strategy: Develop and optimize the maintenance pillar of operational excellence, driving a standardized preventative maintenance program across multiple regions.
• Audit performance of preventative maintenance programs (operational excellence) for production plants in assigned regions.
• Collaborate with regional maintenance teams, region and global subject matter experts to improve equipment reliability, implement new ideas or technologies.
• Equipment Reliability and Performance: Analyze equipment data to improve performance of production assets, enhance uptime, extend asset life, and improve maintenance KPIs.
• Support the global engineering group in adopting best-in-class performance of production plant assets.
• Culture Connection: Promote a culture of safety, environment, health, quality, and maintenance in the workplace, encouraging adherence to standards and excellence, and driving cross-functional teamwork.
• Training: Support stakeholders on appropriate methods and decisions related to preventative maintenance of plant assets.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify new preventative maintenance and conditional monitoring technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing, including packaging manufacturing.
• Experience in computerized maintenance management systems.
• Mechanical expertise: machinery maintenance, mechanical systems, and reliability engineering.
• Effective communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
• Data-driven decision making, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Total productive maintenance experience.
