The Financial Planning and Compliance Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing all tax-related activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with current tax legislation and seeking to optimize the tax burden.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the Tax team, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
  • Conduct analyses and studies on tax planning to identify opportunities for tax savings and optimize the tax structure.
  • Ensure the correct calculation and payment of federal, state, and municipal taxes, such as Corporate Income Tax - IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, ICMS, IPI, and ISS.
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of all ancillary tax obligations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits and tax inspections, providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Prepare management reports and detailed analyses on the tax landscape, presenting results and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax legislation, communicating the impacts to the company and implementing necessary adaptations.
  • Propose and implement improvements in tax processes to increase efficiency and reduce risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Law.
  • Solid management experience in the tax/fiscal area.
  • Proficiency in tax calculation, ancillary obligations, and tax legislation.
  • Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills to solve complex problems and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with the team and other departments.
