About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Ipsen. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will play a critical role in providing scientific support to our external and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Support
    • Provide high-level scientific, medical, and technical support to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
    • Respond to requests for clinical information and data in a timely and balanced manner.
  • Knowledge Development
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of Ipsen's marketed products, pipeline research programs, and products from other companies.
    • Support healthcare professionals in an active/reactive manner by providing them with scientific and clinical data.
  • Event Support
    • Participate in scientific congresses to interact with healthcare professionals and improve knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas.
    • Support teams in organizing and conducting national and regional events and discussions related to medical education.
  • Regulation, Compliance, and Governance
    • Ensure that scientific support is informed, balanced, up-to-date, and in compliance with Ipsen SOPs and local regulations.
    • Work in accordance with good market practices and Ipsen's business ethics policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or equivalent with a solid medical/technical background.
    • MSc and/or PhD preferred.
  • Experience
    • Previous MSL experience is mandatory.
    • Experience in the therapeutic field of oncology is a plus.
    • Ability to interact externally and internally to support business strategy.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Good knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements governing clinical trials, and experience in strategy development and protocol design.
    • Proven leadership skills in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Proven negotiation skills, presentation skills, business and market knowledge.
Language Skills

Fluent in Portuguese and good oral and written English communication skills.
