Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of enterprise-scale data solutions, driving technical excellence and innovation
  • Act as a technical expert on data architecture, empowering data engineers and data scientists
  • Foster an engineering culture of excellence, empowering engineers to deliver reliable and flexible solutions
  • Build and nurture a top-performing team, driving innovation and success in a dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, external partners, and peer data leaders to drive cross-functional success
Requirements
  • B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related domains
  • 3+ years of hands-on management experience
  • Experience in hiring and growing diverse teams
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, operating effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience with performance management, coaching, mentoring, and growing teams
  • Hands-on approach to closing gaps in data infrastructure, BI tools, and technical execution
  • Prior experience with Snowflake/Spark/Trino
  • Prior experience with large-scale batch/real-time ETL orchestration
  • Prior experience in Analytics Engineering and Business Intelligence
  • Familiarity with Datalake solutions such as Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg
  • Familiarity with a cloud-based environment such as AWS
