Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Coordinator to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of packages and cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute pickup and delivery operations, including package verification and labeling.
  • Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with company standards and policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of packages.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a cargo driver or in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license (Type C, D, or E) with a maximum of 5 points (fines).
  • Completion of a MOPP course (within validity).
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and routes.
  • Knowledge of tracking systems and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs. (32kgs) and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs. (68kgs) with proper equipment.
