Job Overview

The Suzano Site Director will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing and related support activities at the Suzano site. This strategic leadership role requires a strong operational mindset, people leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all site operations, including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and support functions.
  • Ensure the site delivers safety & quality standards, service, cost, and cash targets in alignment with business objectives.
  • Guarantee compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to Safety, Hygiene, Security, and Environment (HSE).
  • Develop and implement the annual investment plan, including capital expenditures and labor cost optimization.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement.
  • Represent the site in internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and corporate reviews.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to align site strategy with broader business goals.

About You
  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Science or related areas. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in industrial site leadership, preferably in the consumer healthcare sector, FMCG companies.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HSE regulations, TPM, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, fostering a positive work environment that drives engagement, collaboration, and high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex operations.
  • Inclusive and inspiring leader with a proven track record of driving cultural and operational transformations, as well as leading successful turnarounds.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Experienced in navigating complex matrix organizations and operating effectively in an international environment.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
