We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead our AI platform development team at Poatek. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our AI engine, ensuring it delivers flexibility, control, productivity, and trust to our clients worldwide.

Location and Flexibility

This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to work in a collaborative environment from one of our offices or remotely. Our office culture is designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members.

Qualifications

  • You have a strong background in software engineering and at least 5 years of experience building digital products.
  • You have managed a team of software engineers and been responsible for growing the people on the team through goal-setting, coaching, and feedback.
  • You are comfortable having difficult conversations and always have your clients' and teammates' best interests in mind.
  • You have familiarity with CI/CD, Agile techniques for managing work, pairing, mobbing, and shift-left testing.
  • You have owned the delivery of a complete digital product, with code that is durable, secure, scalable, and thoroughly tested.
  • You can simplify and communicate about complex problems around technology, business processes, user experience, and development tasks.
  • You have worked on AI product development or have knowledge on AI development best practices.
