Job Summary:

This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity where you will work as part of a Scrum team, collaborating with other software engineers, stakeholders, and contributors on the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced mobile applications for iOS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Evaluate application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Work with APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends and technologies.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in iOS development.
  • Proficient in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
  • Experience implementing video player functionality using AVPlayer and AVKit frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Combine, CoreData, or Realm.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of mobile performance tools and optimization techniques.
  • Experience publishing apps to the App Store.
