About the Role

We're looking for skilled software engineers to join our team in Brazil. This role is ideal for those who take pride in their work and have a strong passion for solving problems with code.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement technical solutions to business problems, contributing to an architectural vision that will scale up to be a leading research platform.
  • Ship working code using React on the frontend and Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend.
  • Deploy and iterate quickly to gather feedback and inform our next iteration.
  • Become proficient in market-leading technology by building it with experienced colleagues in a high-performance environment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot services, catching errors before users notice them.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in Java or Kotlin with Springboot, and ideally experience with relational databases.
  • A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent, and experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team.
  • A proven track record of making a demonstrable impact in previous roles, standing out from peers.
  • Highly driven and proactive, independently pushing through hurdles and driving towards excellent outcomes.
  • Meticulous, holding high standards and having an obsessive attention to detail.
