Join our team of engineering professionals as a Mechanical Engineer where you will work on various tasks collaborating with designers, architects, and project managers. You will be applying deep expertise in mechanical systems within the context of NYC building codes.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects. They will also coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure design compatibility and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking an individual with a strong knowledge of New York City building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed mechanical engineering drawings in accordance with NYC building codes
  • Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects
  • Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure design compatibility and regulatory compliance
  • Revise and update technical drawings based on project specifications and markups
  • Conduct technical reviews and contribute to the development of project documentation
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote work environment
