Your Responsibilities
  • As a Lead IT Strategy Consultant, you will collaborate closely with client leadership teams to identify key challenges, formulate IT strategies, secure buy-in for your recommendations, and work alongside BCG case team members to convert client potential into performance.
  • You will implement tailored IT strategies, digital platforms, and architectures to harness the digital potential of our clients using state-of-the-art tools such as cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization.
  • You will oversee specific project components, evaluate and mentor client technology teams, manage quality and risk, while ensuring client expectations are met.
  • You will spearhead innovative projects by enabling clients to effectively adopt agile methodologies and modern approaches in strategic IT implementation.
  • Your work will encompass a range of technology topics, applying your technical consulting expertise to strategic technology inquiries. You will receive extensive training, including technology-specific mentoring, to enhance your technical skills. Additionally, you will assist with project proposals, client relations, relationship building with peers, and identifying new business opportunities.
Your Qualifications
  • A university degree with strong academic performance in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or Information Technology.
  • 7-10 years of experience in IT Strategy and consulting, professional software development, or IT project management.
  • Experience in a consulting firm focused on technology and digital initiatives, particularly in IT organization and process development.
  • Familiarity with a range of technologies that enable analysis of legacy environments and modernization proposals.
  • A proven track record in various delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, with experience in large-scale Digital and Agile transformations.
  • Knowledge of IT organization and development process methodologies.
  • A balanced understanding of functional and technical trade-offs, with experience in data migration, cutover, and PMO.
  • A deep understanding of integration patterns and best practices, including events, synchronous vs. asynchronous, and data integration.
  • Strong business acumen, capable of framing complex problems within appropriate business contexts.
  • A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills, a strong customer focus, and mental agility with a results-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Additional Information

This position involves significant travel to client sites, depending on client needs and project nature.
