ERP Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned ERP transformation expert to drive the tax workstream in an SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This role will be responsible for assessing the effort required to upgrade from the current Oracle ERP to an existing SAP global template and ensuring functional tax requirements are being addressed during the implementation phase.

This position requires a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA tax localization and expertise in Brazilian tax regulations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Brazilian tax laws while maintaining alignment with global finance and tax processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the current Oracle ERP tax setup and define the scope, effort, and impact of transitioning to an existing SAP S/4HANA global template.
  • Provide recommendations on tax process optimizations in SAP S/4HANA while ensuring compliance with Brazilian regulations.
  • Define the data migration strategy for tax-related master and transactional data.
  • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to finalize the tax migration roadmap.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Brazilian fiscal regulations, including ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, withholding taxes, SPED reporting, and e-invoicing (Nota Fiscal Eletronica - NF-e).

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP tax configuration with a strong focus on Brazilian tax localization.
  • Proven experience leading tax workstreams in SAP S/4HANA global template implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA, including TDF, ACR, and Nota Fiscal solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Brazilian tax regulations, compliance reporting, and electronic invoicing.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and critical thinking skills.
