Backend Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance and scale customer-facing services, ensuring robustness and scalability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance features for our website and registration process, focusing on user experience.
  • Scale backend services to support feature requests and accommodate a growing user base, prioritizing performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Improve platform and service reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and optimize existing backend services, aligning with evolving business and technical requirements.
  • Design, expose, and maintain APIs and services for external consumption and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Write comprehensive tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • RESTful API design, building, and maintenance.
  • TypeScript proficiency for backend development.
  • Node.js experience for building scalable backend services.
  • MySQL and DynamoDB familiarity for database management.
  • Redis expertise for in-memory data storage and caching.
  • Solid understanding of automated testing principles.
