Advanced Machine Learning Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data science efforts in Brazil. As a senior data scientist, you will spearhead the development and deployment of machine learning systems to production, focusing on search and recommendation systems, customer experience enhancement using ML, pricing, liquidity, and credit models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the architecture, development, and deployment of machine learning systems to production.
- Design and execute experiments to drive business outcomes.
- Analyze diverse datasets to refine current models or create new ones.
- Apply scientific methodologies to develop LLM-powered applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning concepts and principles.
- Strong understanding of engineering challenges for deploying ML systems to production.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Familiarity with Deep Learning techniques.
- Experience providing technical guidance to junior data scientists.
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- MSc. in machine learning, data science, or relevant fields.
- Experience applying generative AI to real-world problems.
- Background working at fast-growing startups.
This is a mid-senior level position requiring at least 3+ years of experience applying data science and creating machine learning models.
