Bioenergy Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Bioenergy Technical Service team, where you will collaborate closely with colleagues to provide world-class technical support and cutting-edge solutions.

• Develop and execute work plans according to guidelines from the Technical Service team.
• Work independently on tasks assigned, conduct experiments, and evaluate trial data.
• Perform experimental work involving established methods to meet specific team/project goals.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is operated according to recommended procedures and safety protocols.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and standardize analytical methods, as well as document them according to QMS standards.
• Understand customer concerns regarding analytical methodologies and represent our organization accordingly.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A university degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Biotech/Bioprocess Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in instrumentation, including method development, sample analysis, data interpretation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistics.
• Background in analytical chemistry and/or biochemistry with exposure to AOAC and IUPAC methods.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical training.
• Collaborative team player with fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English.
