Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Night In Room Dining Coordinator to join our team at The Savoy, a Fairmont Managed Hotel. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all service requirements addressed to the Room Service department, primarily responsible for taking guest orders over the telephone or verbally.
  • Process orders accurately and timely using the POS terminal during the nights.
  • Ensure effective communication with the supervisor, butler, and chef on duty regarding orders and any special requests.
  • Communicate with various other departments, using Micros & RMS app for room clearance, room changes, checking status of the rooms, and amenity delivery.
  • Print daily reports.
  • Update VIP list.
  • Assist the department with any other administration and duties as requested.
  • Assist the IRD manager in achieving high scores on various guest satisfaction surveys, recognizing repeat guests, and following standard procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate with guests and anticipate their needs.
  • Ability to smile and diffuse anger naturally.
  • Very good telephone etiquette.
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality.
  • Profound knowledge of customer service.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products.
  • Hotel Management diploma or similar qualification.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel.
