Job Overview:

As a Project Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for leading the development, coordination and review of designs and technical standards for our utility scale solar and energy storage projects.

  • Develop, coordinate development, and review designs for our projects.
  • Manage the work of engineering services providers and consultants.
  • Establish, maintain and improve technical specifications for our facilities and equipment.
  • Provide technical support for interconnection in collaboration with transmission engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Oversight

  • Develop and manage project designs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Construction Support

  • Lead technical oversight during design and construction phases of the project.
  • Collaborate with project management team to ensure successful project delivery.

Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain vendor performance metrics to inform procurement decisions.

Requirements:

To perform this role successfully, you will require:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technical field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience with engineering, procurement and construction of utility scale solar PV systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of IEEE and other governing standards for design of solar PV systems.
  • Knowledge of solar and energy storage project engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
