Senior Data Engineer Position

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in data engineering and experience working with large-scale datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data models and data pipelines using various tools and technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, and Python.
- Build and deploy REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Perform debugging and fixing application issues, including root cause analysis and proactive/preventive maintenance.
- Follow test-driven development approach and participate in Agile team meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Advanced English language skills, including broad vocabulary and good grammar.
- Experience with ETL, data modeling, data warehousing, and working with large-scale datasets.
- API development experience, specifically with Rest APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Test-driven development experience and knowledge of DevOps and lean development principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, ECS, API Gateway, S3, etc.
- Experience with LLM and Agentic Frameworks.
- General understanding of AWS services and passion for learning new complex technical areas.
