**Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer Role Overview**

This challenging role involves developing automated and manual tests to verify embedded software functionality and tools.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in our embedded software products.
  • Perform in-depth software analyses, including worst-case timing, memory margin, structural coverage, data coupling, and control coupling.
  • Conduct peer reviews and provide feedback as part of the software certification team.
  • Generate life cycle data and documentation in compliance with DO-178C Level A requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Main Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • No less than 8 years of experience in embedded software verification in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong expertise in C programming language and common test scripting languages.
  • Experience with hard real-time systems, built-in-test, tasking and interrupts, performing and developing tests, RTOS, bare-metal development, and communication protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI).
  • Strong understanding of software configuration management and contemporary software build, integration, test, and deployment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, documentation, and datasheets.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with STMicroelectronics ARM Cortex-M series microcontrollers.
  • In-depth knowledge of DO-178C and its supplements.
  • Familiarity with ARP 4754A and ARP 4761 processes and their impact on software processes.
  • Proficiency in Google G-Suite, Slack, Polarion ALM, Git, and Subversion.
  • Minimum English language proficiency: C1 Advanced.
