This opportunity allows you to apply your initial Ruby skills to develop and maintain web applications. As a Junior Ruby Developer, you will be involved in the full software development cycle, enhancing your Ruby programming capabilities and gaining experience in web development frameworks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining Ruby applications with well-structured and efficient code.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to different stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications to improve application performance and reliability.
  • Participating actively in code reviews, applying and adhering to best practices in Ruby development.
  • Working with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks, developing a deeper understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful design.
  • Contributing to writing automated tests and documentation for Ruby applications, ensuring code reliability and maintainability.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 1+ year of experience with Ruby.
  • A good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
  • The ability to solve problems effectively and learn new technologies quickly.
  • A good level of English.
